An Ode to Shiori (A Silent Dream....)

Hey folks!  Have you ever been in LOVE?  I mean really in love?  The kind of love that makes you shake in your boots, makes your heart quiver, and makes your head swim?  True Amor is not just for humans.  It also resides in the hearts of all avian companions.  Take it from me:  they don't call me Jose the Lover for nothing!  There is a hen somewhere in Wyoming.  She is round, red, and she resides always in my memory, in the center of my soul.

A LONG TIME AGO, ON A COMPUTER JUST DOWN THE HALL....

***Jose sits stunned and motionless, one foot on the keyboard, one eye transfixed on the monitor. A chunky red Cyber Chicken added him as a friend! His fate is sealed! The cyber gods have smiled upon him.....
Jose knows that his love is forbidden. The chicken is too young. Too innocent. Must not taint the frail red flower. But he also knows his love is growing stronger every day. Becoming oh so very difficult to ignore.    

DAMN! He loves this bird! Why must this love be so bitter sweet? Why does he feel as though he just stepped out of a Shakespearean tragedy? NO!! That will not happen!! That will NEVER occur!!  Only positive vibrations will emanate from this story.  He will hold his head high, and all odds against him and the Cyber Chicken will be destroyed!  The Force of Love will pave the way to better things!

Jose resolves a happier ending for himself and the chunky chicken. The miles may keep them apart , but his heart still beats wildly for her. They can still love now----and one day----be together forever! Must not let the humans take away this dream!

Oh the cup is bitter for now. But in the end, the Cyber Chicken will dip her foot in his drink, and all will be sweet again........***
